If you are staying in a holiday apartment, a bed & breakfast, most hotels, or at a campsite, you will receive a registration link from your host. After completing the registration, you will receive an email granting access to “Concierge myGstaad,” your digital holiday companion.

Once you have created a username and password, you can activate and use your digital Gstaad Card(s) in Concierge myGstaad (see instructions.).

If you are staying in group accommodation or the above conditions do not apply, you will receive the digital Gstaad Card with the corresponding QR codes directly by email. You can either download it to your smartphone or print it at home.

When redeeming an offer, the QR code will be scanned by the service provider. There are two QR codes:
• One for the Gstaad Card
• One for public transport (ÖV)

Do I have to set up a «Concierge myGstaad» account and activate the Gstaad Card(s) in it?

  • It is recommended to use “Concierge myGstaad” as it provides an overview of all Gstaad Card benefits and allows you to book experiences directly.
  • Concierge myGstaad helps you find currently available activities, routes, tours, and events, and plan your stay.
  • If you choose not to use Concierge myGstaad, meaning you do not activate it, you will receive your Gstaad Card(s) automatically by email at midnight after your arrival.

Can I also print out the Gstaad Card if I have activated it in «Concierge myGstaad»?

  • It can also be used offline in «Concierge myGstaad» (no need to load it into the wallet).

Be inspired by the more than 80 experiences: www.gstaad.ch/en/gstaadcard.

Why is there an additional QR code for public transport?

Public transport uses a specially developed QR code that contains additional security elements. These elements are exclusively intended for use on public transportation.

For this reason, the digital Gstaad Card includes two separate QR codes:

  • One for the Gstaad Card – for tourist services and offers
  • One for public transport (ÖV) – for bus and train travel in 2nd class

When redeeming an offer, the corresponding QR code will be scanned by the service provider.

Why does the QR code for the public transport not work, even though the Gstaad Card is still valid?

If you have previously used a Gstaad Card and saved the public transport QR code in your wallet, please note the following:

  • QR codes stored in the wallet become invalid after your stay.
  • You must remove them manually from the wallet, as they can no longer be used.
  • For a new visit to the Gstaad holiday region, you will receive new QR codes. Please ensure that both QR codes – for the guest card and for public transport – are fully loaded into your wallet. This is the only way to guarantee smooth usage.

  • One for the Gstaad Card – for tourist services and offers
  • One for public transport (ÖV) – for bus and train travel in 2nd class

In Concierge myGstaad, you will always find the latest valid QR codes.

Do I have to buy a ticket for the train despite the Gstaad Card?

  • In the Gstaad holiday region, public transport is included 365 days a year. A separate ticket is not required – simply present the Gstaad Card / Mobility Ticket. Usage applies to travel in 2nd class.
  • Dogs are not entitled to the Gstaad Card. Depending on the size of the dog, a corresponding ticket must be purchased separately. Please refer to the guidelines on traveling with dogs ().
  • A valid ticket is also required for transporting bicycles or bikes. Further information can be found in the guidelines on bicycle transport Please note the instructions.
  • For groups of ten or more people, seat reservations are mandatory on both trains and buses – even when using the Gstaad Card.

Can the Junior Card/Semi-Fare Card/GA/SwissTravel Pass be combined with the Gstaad Card?

Only the Junior Card is accepted in combination with the Gstaad Card.

Can the guest card (Gstaad Card / Saani Card) also be purchased?

The guest card – whether the Gstaad Card or the Saani Card – costs nothing. It is a free service available to all guests during their stay in the Gstaad holiday region. It is issued directly by the host and cannot be purchased.

Do I get a discount on the mountain cable cars with the guest card (Gstaad Card / Saani Card)?

With the guest card – whether the Gstaad Card or the Saani Card – you do not receive any discounts at the following mountain cable cars in the Gstaad holiday region:
