Time for snow

Off the beaten track, visitors find time for great experiences without long queueing times. A wide variety of slopes await, including glacier descents, snow parks and valley runs. The Gstaad holiday region is a renowned foodie destination, too – both on and off the slopes.

Sun in your face, swirling snow under the edges – that’s pure pleasure. The slopes in the largest ski area of the holiday region are diverse and suited for all levels. The many snow bars, cosy huts and restaurants next to the slopes offer something for every taste. Additional benefit: The trip from the flatland is very relaxing thanks to the direct train connection between Bern and Zweisimmen.

Eggli - La Videmanette

Parlez-vous français? The cantonal and language barrier runs through the Eggli-La Videmanette ski area, and the charming influence of the French-speaking part of Switzerland can be felt everywhere. Skiers really get their money’s worth here, thanks to the long and varied descents. With the new Eggli Lounge and mountain restaurant, bon vivants truly feel at home on the sunny local mountain Eggli.

Wasserngrat

Locals love the steep Wasserngrat, a challenging downhill slope in deep powder. The insider tip has now been revealed, but we don't want to deprive anyone of this adventure! It's also fun on the slopes. The shady slopes offer perfect conditions until late in the afternoon. Our favourite mountain for a short break from everyday stress.

Glacier 3000

A magical, snowy Alpine mountainscape stretches out before you from November to May, with views of over two dozen majestic peaks of 4,000 m or higher, including Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. The Peak Walk by Tissot, a floating bridge that connects two peaks, is a real highlight and not to be missed.
