Snow sports activities

The various snow sports schools in the holiday region Gstaad offer winter sports activities for guests with special physical and/or mental needs. They have trained snow sports instructors with many years of experience in dealing with impairments of all kinds and also have ski seating equipment. The Schönried Snowsports School is the specialist for blind or visually impaired skiers or snowboarders.

Outdoor skating rink (in the village center)
Here the whole family can skate together and have fun! The skating rink is also available for wheelchair users. Thanks to an «ice glider», which is attached under the wheelchair, they can use the ice rink. The wheelchair-accessible Café Charly's, which offers a good view of the ice rink, is ideal for a little refreshment in between.

Indoor curling at the sport center
This facility on the edge of the village is just a few minutes' walk from the hotels and stores and offers the opportunity to play curling. Guests in wheelchairs have free access to the ice rink.

Carriage rides

A trip in a horse-drawn carriage or sleigh through the beautiful countryside is one of the romantic highlights of a stay in the holiday region Gstaad.

The holiday region Gstaad is considered one of the top cross-country skiing areas in Switzerland. The offer in the various sub-areas covers all levels of difficulty. Both classic cross-country skiers and skating enthusiasts get their money's worth. The snow sports schools in the region also offer cross-country skiing instructors.

Snowshoe Hiking

The holiday region Gstaad with its gentle hilly landscape is ideal for snowshoe tours. Young and old alike can enjoy the untouched nature on easy or challenging routes.

The indoor pool at the Gstaad Sports Centre has something for everyone - for swimmers or just for relaxing.

STATION - Indoor playground

The STATION offers a world of work and experimentation. There is a fascinating machine room with a complex network of ropes, cogwheels, cranks and ball tracks. You can work on handicraft and craft projects at the various work stations. Or simply curl up in a quiet corner with a book.

Tennis

The sports centre Gstaad has three indoor courts with a carpet surface.It is possible to book lessons with a tennis instructor.

Horse riding

The Gstaad Riding Centre offers indoor riding lessons during the winter months. In classic, English or Western style: the Saanenland makes the hearts of horse lovers beat faster.
