Sparenmoos: the relaxing mountain

Summer Highlights

The Sparenmoos is the ideal starting point for hikers. The extensive hiking trails towards Jaunpass or Rellerli offer amazing views and pass by traditional alpine huts and flower-filled meadows. On the Cultural Path interested visitors can discover mountain stories, customs, and a wealth of knowledge. With a bit of luck and binoculars, wildlife such as red deer, chamois, roe deer, and mountain hares can be observed from the Weldweg. A hike can be wonderfully concluded with a thrilling scooter ride down to Zweisimmen.

Winter Highlights

The trails on the snow-sure high plateau impress with a varied route through the gentle hilly landscape. They enchant with a fantastic view from Stockhorn to Les Diablerets. Pure sliding fun is guaranteed by the sledding run from Sparenmoos to Heimchueweid, which leads over snowy meadows and through forested sections. For hikers, Sparenmoos offers a circular hike with beautiful views of the Simmental, western Bernese Oberland, and the Waadländer Alps.
