Mobility
The holiday region Gstaad is actively committed to accessibility throughout the region. Here is the most important information about mountain railways, mobility and transport options. New offers are constantly being created and existing ones expanded.
In Saanen and Gstaad, the village centres are partly car-free. The large village squares are paved with fine cobblestones. In the Gstaad Promenade, the forecourts of the shops are also paved with cobblestones. However, the centre of the road is paved with flat slabs or asphalt. This ensures accessibility for wheelchairs, walkers and prams.
