Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad

January 31. – February 8, 2025

Since 2001, the Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad, led by Renaud Capuçon, have been a major winter event for classical music enthusiasts. The festival showcases young talents as well as internationally renowned artists, with top concert series in exceptional venues in Gstaad, Saanen, and Rougemont. In addition, each year, a composer and a mentor enhance the program with contemporary works and masterclasses.

Beach vibes galore: head here for a buzzing atmosphere, sand flying everywhere, breathtaking rallies, crowds of fans and helpers, and the world’s finest beach volleyball teams. For over 20 years, Gstaad has welcomed elite beach volleyball players from all over the world at the Swatch Beach Pro Gstaad in the heart of the mountains.

Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy

The big names of the classical music scene grace the area in summer. What began in 1957 with two concerts by violinist of the century Yehudi Menuhin at the church in Saanen is now one of the biggest classical music festivals in Switzerland. Over 60 concerts take place in the atmospheric churches of the region and in the classy festival tent in Gstaad. There’s plenty to look forward to in summer 2024: Jonas Kaufmann, Julia Fischer, Yuja Wang, Daniel Hope, the London Symphony Orchestra and a whole lot more.

EFG Swiss Open Gstaad

12 – 20 July 2025

The EFG Swiss Open Gstaad is a men's tennis tournament that has been held annually on clay since 1915. It belongs to the ATP Tour 250 category. Under the motto "Champions of Today meet Stars of Tomorrow", top players can be seen in Gstaad every year, challenged by up-and-coming young talents.

Country Night Gstaad

Since 1989, the biggest stars from the US country music scene have been showcasing their talent at the top music event of its kind in Europe, celebrating the Wild West. And there’s plenty to enjoy besides the fantastic performances, including an aftershow party, refreshment marquee, bars, saloon, line dancing, Luna Park, food trucks, Midwest stands and plenty of entertainment for young and old.

Gstaad-Events Supporter

Gstaad boasts a unique diversity of events both as a resort and a destination. Nowhere else are you likely to find such a high concentration of stellar events in sports, music, art, and literature, along with customs and traditions designed to uphold the local heritage. Many of these events have existed for several decades and contributed hugely to the appeal of the region as a whole.
