Hiking

The hiking challenge during the summer of 2026 starts on 6 June and ends on 18 October

Together with the Peakhunter app (the summit logbook in your pocket), we challenge you to visit eight of 17 mountain restaurants. The mountain restaurants are scattered throughout the Gstaad holiday region and invite you to enjoy a variety of hikes. As a «finisher», you will receive your well-deserved prize at the tourist office in Gstaad. These are various «ächt - vo hie» products, which have been produced with a lot of passion and pride by our regional producers (seasonally varied). With a little luck, you can win further attractive prizes in the big prize draw at the beginning of November. Take part and let yourself be surprised!

In Fondueland Gstaad, there's nothing better than savouring a delicious fondue in the heart of the mountains. Two specially equipped huts and five oversized caquelons provide a convivial setting for savouring the fondue with an incomparable panoramic view. All the necessary ingredients are packed in the fondue rucksack and can be ordered from the dairies in the region, from Berghaus Wispile and from the hotels.

Discover unspoilt nature and remote places up close and spend the night in special places - this is what makes long-distance hiking a special experience. Three different multi-stage tours lead through the Gstaad holiday region.
