Mountain Railway

The following cable cars enable the uncomplicated transport of wheelchairs and dual skibobs. So nothing stands in the way of a wonderful mountain experience!

  • Gstaad – Eggli with restaurant
  • Rougemont – La Videmanette with restaurant
  • Col du Pillon – Glacier 3000 with restaurant

Public transport

The main public transport is the MOB (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) railway and numerous PostBus lines. The MOB connects the villages of Château-d'Oex, Rougemont, Saanen, Gstaad, Schönried, Saanenmöser and Zweisimmen. The various PostBus lines also connect the villages of Turbach, Gsteig/Col du Pillon and Lauenen from Gstaad.

In the spirit of sustainability and accessibility, 2nd class public transport are with the Gstaad Card (area Saanenland/Zweisimmen) free of charge all year round from the first overnight stay during your holiday. All public transport is wheelchair-friendly and allows barrier-free boarding and alighting.

There are numerous extra-large car parks available in the holiday region, making it easy to get in and out at various locations.

Gstaad

Wheelchair transport

The regional transport company Reichenbach Transporte has buses with ramps and/or lifts for wheelchairs. Pre-booking is recommended. 

Taxi-Daniela also specialises in wheelchair transport.

In Zweisimmen, Agathe's Taxi specialises in transporting wheelchairs.
