The snowshoe hike starts in the village of Lauenen and leads eastwards along the Mülibach to Rütschli. From there it continues in a southeast direction to Fäng. From here, the path runs along the cleared road to Safretvorschess. Then follows the ascent over the Vordere Trütlisbärg to the summit at 2075 meters above sea level. During the ascent, you can enjoy a beautiful winter landscape and the peace of nature. Upon arrival at the destination, you can admire the beautiful panorama.

  • Approach

    The Gstaad holiday region is located in the southwest of Switzerland, right on the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Thun Lake region, the Geneva area, and the Gruyère region. Direct connections to the European high-speed train network and to all international airports of Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and pleasant journey.

    • The weather can change quickly in the mountains. Therefore, bring appropriate clothing, enough food and water, and turn back in time if the weather is uncertain.
    • Inform others about the hike and, if possible, never go alone.
    • Be considerate of other hikers as well as plants and animals.
