Just before Feutersoey, you can warm up on the bike path and admire the approaching main Alpine ridge. Afterwards, the route follows the main road up to Col du Pillon. From Gsteig, the road leads along the high peaks up to the pass summit. From afar, you can already see the Glacier 3000 cable car. After the descent to Les Diablerets, a steep side road leads to Les Voëttes at Vers-l'Église. The final descent to Chateau-d'Oex is a lot of fun. Mostly good surface and wide curves mean that the two flat sections are often ridden quickly. In Chateau-d'Oex, Rougemont, and Saanen, it is worth cycling through the villages and maybe even stopping for a coffee.

The holiday region of Gstaad is located in the southwest of Switzerland, right on the border with the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Thun Lake region, the Lake Geneva area, and the Gruyère region. Direct connections to the European high-speed rail network and to all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and pleasant journey. The main means of transport in the Gstaad region are the "MOB" (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) train and numerous post bus lines.
