The ascent to Rinderberg (2004 m) is comfortably done by gondola from Zweisimmen. From the mountain station, a short ascent follows to the beautiful viewing platform on the summit of Rinderberg (2079 m), and from there further to the Parwenge saddle.
The mountain trail mostly runs as a wider and non-exposed ridge path. A few spots are a bit narrower and require surefootedness.
On the further way to Hornberg (1811 m) wonderful views of the Bernese Alpine panorama open up. The well-developed path leads to the mountain station Horneggli (1770 m), from where you can take the chairlift to Schönried. On foot, you can also hike from Horneggli into the valley to Saanenmöser or Schönried.

The hike can also be done from Horneggli to Rinderberg:
