Take the comfortable gondola ride up the Rinderberg (2,004 m) from Zweisimmen. From the mountain station, there is a short climb to the beautiful panorama platform on the summit of the Rinderberg (2,079m) and from there on to the Parwengensattel. The mountain hiking trail is mostly wide and not exposed along the ridge. A few sections are a little narrower and require sure-footedness.
On the way to Hornberg (1,811 m), there are wonderful views of the Bernese Alps panorama. The well-maintained trail leads to the Horneggli mountain station (1,770 m), from where you can take the chairlift to Schönried. You can also hike from Horneggli down into the valley to Saanenmöser or Schönried.

The hike can also be done from Horneggli to Rinderberg:
