The Gstaad holiday region is located in the southwest of Switzerland, directly at the border to the French-speaking part of the country. Lauenen, Lauenensee (No bus in winter)

During the holiday season and on weekends, high passenger volume is to be expected. Groups of 10 or more people are therefore asked to make a reservation. (www.postauto.ch)

Recommendation for arrival at Lauenensee:
On foot, by PostAuto bus, or by bike from the village of Lauenen
By car: parking lot with limited capacity. Once full, the road will be closed.
