Obersimmental Museum of Local History
Since 1983, the Heimatmuseum Obersimmental in Zweisimmen has been open to the public. The building located at Kirchgasse 11 is the only such institution in our region. Those who visit our museum can look forward to encountering something special. Our house is not a museum like many others. Most items are not hidden in display cases and glass cabinets. They are distributed throughout the building. This open presentation gives visitors the feeling of being in a lived-in home. The Heimatmuseum Obersimmental has become a witness to ancient and modern local history.
