The Montreux Bernese Oberland Railway is a Swiss narrow-gauge railway company based in Montreux. Its 75 km long route connects Montreux with Zweisimmen and Lenk in the Simmental valley. From Montreux, the train gradually rises above Lake Geneva. After a few more curves, it disappears into the valley. It winds its way through the Gruyère region for several kilometres and then passes through the beautiful Pays-d'Enhaut. An idyllic landscape where time has stood still. The journey continues through the world-famous resort of Gstaad and on to Zweisimmen. The diversity of this beautiful area, with its lakes, mountains, forests and typical villages, makes this journey magical and the ride in the Panoramic unforgettable.
The Rochers-de-Naye and Les Pléiades experience is also offered by the MOB.
There are four different trains operating in the Gstaad holiday region:

A journey between Interlaken, Gstaad and Montreux that has been eagerly awaited for over 100 years. Unique technology with variable gauge bogies. A modern train with three classes (Prestige, 1st and 2nd class) and different service levels. Offers for groups that can be tailored to your needs.

The GoldenPass Panoramic is a modern train with unique features. In addition to their high level of comfort, they have panoramic windows specially designed by our workshops in Chernex. These make you feel even closer to nature. As soon as you take your seat on the train, you feel immersed in nature.

GOLDENPASS BELLE ÉPOQUE
The GoldenPass Belle Epoque offers pure railway romance on the Zweisimmen-Montreux route. Built in the Belle Époque style, the train combines the ambience of the 1930s with modern amenities. Experience a stylish journey with breathtaking views of the Vaud Riviera.

REGIONAL TRAIN
Alternating with the special train compositions, regional trains also run between Gstaad, Zweisimmen and Lenk during the day. The train composition is not quite as special, but the route is just as beautiful.
