Lauibach

At the Lauibach between the village of Lauenen and Lauenensee lies a moor area. Flora and fauna are particularly diverse here. Hikers can walk directly along the cool brook and then follow a zigzag path directly to Lauenensee. The path along the ever-widening brook is wildly romantic and enchanting.

  • Location: In the Rohr between the village of Lauenen and Lake.
  • Altitude: 1240 m above sea level.
  • How to get there: from Gstaad to Lauenen. Through the village to Hotel Alpenland.
  • Recommendation: Hike to Lauenensee or even further to Geltenschuss / Geltenhütte SAC
