February Concerts in Zweisimmen – Piano Concerts

The 18th "February Festival" at the Reformed Church of Zweisimmen.
The concert association Zweisimmen organizes several church concerts every year, including the "February Concerts" and the two "December Concerts" of the Cantate Choir Zweisimmen.

"Concerti for Five" is the term for the works that will be played in this special form. With the chamber music version of two great piano concertos, the artists revert to a style of playing that was common in the salons of noble houses in the 19th century. Many orchestral works found their first audience in such an intimate setting. We are pleased to revive this tradition here in Zweisimmen with two well-known, magnificent concerts by Mozart (C major KV 415) and Chopin (No. 2 in F minor Op. 21).
