You start directly at the Sports Center in Gstaad. Follow the signs for Trail Running Gstaad. First, go right behind the Sports Center over a bridge and continue towards Saanen. Shortly after the riding center, go left uphill towards Eggli. Along the Saanen-Eggli chairlift, you will reach the Eggli mountain station after about 4.5 km. Between the Eggli mountain station and the mountain restaurant, you will find the way back down towards Gstaad.
Notes: The route can be extended as desired. For example, from the Eggli mountain station via Vorderes Eggli, towards Grund near Gstaad, and then back to the Sports Center. The Sports Center is located about 900 meters from Gstaad train station. The Eggli mountain restaurant and the Saanen/Gstaad-Eggli cable car are closed in summer.
