The route runs on the cycle path from Gstaad to Lauenen. A detour into the charming mountain village is worthwhile: it is characterized by old, well-preserved chalets and its 16th-century church. From Lauenen, the route goes up to the idyllically located Lauenensee. The route leads along the beautiful lake on a natural road until it reaches the road back to Lauenen. From there, it follows the same way down until shortly before Tromsäge. From the sawmill, the route goes over a hill back to Gstaad.

  • Approach

The Gstaad holiday region is located in the southwest of Switzerland, directly on the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Thun Lake region, the Lake Geneva area, and the Gruyère region. Direct connections to the European high-speed train network and to all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and comfortable journey. The main means of transport in Gstaad are the "MOB" train (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) and numerous post bus lines.
