    Abländschen can be reached from the Simmental via the Jaun Pass or from the Gruyère region via the neighbouring village of Jaun in Fribourg. There is a direct connection from or to Saanen via the 1647-metre-high Mitterbergpass through the Grisbach Valley. This mountain road is only open during the summer months.

    Publich transport: The village of Jaun can be reached by train and bus. From Jaun take the Alpen Taxi "Taxi Charmey FR" to Abländschen.

    Motorised private transport: Abländschen can be reached by car over the Jaun Pass either via Broc (Bulle) or Reidenbach. The Jaunpass is open all year round.

    Parking at the mountain hotel, limited possible: hotel guests free of charge.
