From Schönried station, walk to the Rellerli parking lot. From there, you reach Hubelstrasse via a short hiking trail. Continue along this street to Bergmatte and then to Grossi Vorschess. After a hike of about 1 hour and 15 minutes, you will reach the large fondue Caquelon, which offers space for up to eight people. Return: you can hike back the same way to Schönried or extend your hike to Rellerli.

Access by mountain bike is possible.
Direct access by car is not allowed.

  • Approach

    The Gstaad holiday region is located in the southwest of Switzerland, right on the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Thun lake region, the Lake Geneva area, and the Gruyère region. Direct connections to the European high-speed train network and all international airports in Switzerland ensure a time-saving and pleasant arrival.
