F3 Tour du Wildhorn Stage 1: Gsteig - Geltenhütte

From Gsteig to the entrance of the Burgfälle, you can prepare for the upcoming hike without much effort. From the Burgfälle, the ascent begins along the various waterfalls. It continues steadily upward to the Vorderen Wispile. Over the Walliser Wispile (1982 m above sea level) and the Hintere Wispile, you descend to the Chrinepass. Follow the signposts towards Lauenensee. The Lauenensee, a special gem, is silting up more and more and is threatened with disappearance. Stop at the Lauenensee restaurant, where the hostess will gladly provide food and drink (note opening hours).

At the Ledi, you ascend along the Geltenbach, via Alp Feissenberg, and later the impressive Geltenschuss up to the Geltenhütte. It is located on the Alp Inneri Gelten.
