The family-friendly mountain

Gstaad's local mountain, the Wispile, is a paradise for families and children. In winter it attracts families with its splendid ski slopes. One particularly popular outing is the panoramic hike along its broad ridge followed by a thrilling toboggan descent into Gsteig. In summer, it's the starting point for exhilarating hikes to the legendary Lake Lauenen.

Highlights Winter

Gstaad's local mountain, Wispile, not only attracts skiers in winter with its beautiful pistes and panoramic views. It also offers an adventurous toboggan run down to Gsteig. And it's got it all! Before the fast run on runners starts, the sledge has to be pulled about 40 minutes to the start. The easy hike leads along a beautiful panoramic path along the ridge. As "compensation", you can see an impressive view of the Spitzhorn, a fore peak of the Wildhorn. The ski lifts Zückerli and Rüti, which are included in the Saani's trial ski ticket, are ideal for families who want to practice their first turns on the easy ski slopes.

Highlights Summer

The petting zoo with the dwarf goats is located at Berghaus Wispile and provides fun for young and old. Right next to it, the large playground with slide, climbing garden, swings and much more invites you to discover, play and linger. For all those who are fit and like to ride downhill at high speed, our scooters are available at the middle station for an eventful adventure. For hikers, the popular panoramic hike to the famous Lake Lauenen begins at the mountain station. The hike leads over the ridge of the Wispile and offers a breathtaking view over the Saanenland and to our 3000m peaks.
