On this path along the Saane, the hiker is accompanied by 12 panels with quotations from Lord Yehudi Menuhin (1916 - 1999). The great musician, violinist, humanist and honorary citizen of the municipality of Saanen founded the now world-famous Menuhin Festival in 1957.

From Kapälliplatz in Gstaad, stroll in the direction of Saanen until you reach the Galerie Atelier d'Artiste. Pass the railroad underpass in the direction of Gschwend and follow the Saane. A quiet, shady path leads from there along the river to Stiftung Alpenruhe - a home for the disabled with a cafeteria. Afterwards you hike to the Chouflisbach, which leads you back to the Saane. Follow it until you reach the village of Saanen. After a recommended visit to the Museum of the landscape Saanen and the Menuhin Center Saanen, your walk ends at the nearby Mauritius Church.
