«Find your further» – finding and overcoming your own limits. Flavia Frautschi had to master many obstacles after a serious accident. The destination partner Helly Hansen decided to use Flavia’s story in its campaign „Find your further“. This biography inspired us because her passion for sport and an unbreakable will literally got Flavia back on her feet and into the mountains again.
Gstaad for Families
Fun snowball fights, building igloos or stealing the carrot from the nose of a snowman – winter has a lot of fun experiences in store for you. Since last year, families in the destination Gstaad also have a very special companion: who has already heard of Saani? The happy cheeky Saanen goat will show you all the things than can be discovered. Whether in summer on the playground or in winter on the slopes – Saani takes young and old on a discovery tour through his homeland.
The mountain railway has already been bringing guests onto the Eggli in style and comfort since the season 2019/20 – now guests can also look forward to the new mountain restaurant. Not only culinary specialties await guests, but also a wonderful sun terrace with a fantastic view onto the mountains.

Booking online pays off!
Buying tickets online is worth it for everyone! Thanks to the flexible prices, no one has to wait in line any longer and the tickets are often even cheaper. In comparison to the previous fixed price of CHF 65, a day ticket now costs up to 25% less and a maximum of 19% more in the future. The prices are based on, for example, when the ticket is booked and on what days it is valid.

Lauenen - Lauenensee - Lauenen
The mountain village of Lauenen is set between Gstaad and the majestic Wildhorn. From here you walk up to the much-praised Lake Lauenen.
Saanenmöser - Chübelialp - Lochstafel - Saanenmöser
The winter hiking trail leads below the Saanerslochgrat middle station up to the Chübelialp restaurant, continues to the Lochstafel and below the ski slopes back to Saanenmöser.
Schönried - Rellerli - Grossi Vorschess - Schönried
If you are looking for awe-inspiring views as well as peace and quiet away from the crowds, the sun-drenched Rellerli is the perfect place to be. The sunny mountain lures with a simple prepared winter hike. The ascent is from Schönried via Bodme to Rellerli. The route continues below the Hugeligrat and then down to Grossi Vorschess.
Whiz downhill on your toboggan as you feel the driving snow on your face – if you love tobogganing then Gstaad with its nine toboggan runs is the perfect place to be. And there are several mountain restaurants and snow bars along the way where you can relax and take a break. By the way, the rental of the toboggan is already included in the toboggan day ticket!
Enjoy a toboggan ride from Mt. Eggli to Gstaad. Your constant companion will be the amazing panoramic view that includes the Sanetsch and Spitzhorn.
The toboggan run from Sparenmoos to Zweisimmen first takes you across meadows and then through forests, starting off level and then becoming steep and winding.
After setting off from Horneggli you pass through fir forests. Along the way you can stop off at the Horny Bar for refreshments. This route crosses the Hornberg Run.
Cross country skiing
Cross-country skiing is popular. It’s good to know that our destination offers a variety of cross-country skiing trails. Between Sparenmoos and Turbach, you can try out a new trail every day. You certainly won’t get bored during longer stays. The cross-country skiing hotspot for night owls is Schönried with the night trails that are lit up.

Mountain restaurant Eggli
Since last winter, guests have been coming to Gstaad’s local mountain, Eggli, very comfortably and in style. The new cable car captivates people with its unusual design. Now guests can look forward even more, as the new mountain top restaurant will open in December. The hosts would like that their guests are able to relax and enjoy the culinary delights. The large terrace invites guests to marvel at the view of the surrounding mountains, especially on sunny days.
“The peak of pleasure” – as per the Wasserngrat website. That’s not promising too much. The terrace offers a nice view onto the surrounding mountains and the ski area is considered exclusive. It’s not large, but the slopes are challenging. Good skiers love the black run "Tiger Run". In the mountain restaurant guests are spoiled with sophisticated culinary delights, a culinary experience that guests will remember for a long time.
The view from the Pasatiempo snow bar is simply stunning. Those who are too fast will go down the same run again. Enjoying a fondue in the sun or relaxing with a hot chocolate in the lounge chair and listening to good sounds – such moments make the ski holidays unforgettable. It’s worth it to begin the last run of the day from the snow bar, so you can enjoy an indescribably beautiful sunset.
