From the railway station Gstaad you walk up to the Oberbort. There you follow the upper trail to Turbach. As an alternative you may take the bus from Gstaad train station to Turbach village or Rotengraben. From there a trail leads in a steady ascent to Steineberg, Marchli and all the way up to Trüttlisberg. This is where the Turbach valley ends and Lauenen valley starts. The downhill hike to Lauenen leads you through colourful Alpine meadows. The steep descent along the eastern slope of the Lauenen valley down to Lauenen offers an unforgettable view. With the bus back to Gstaad.
