Gstaad for Families
Gstaad for Families
Fun snowball fights, building igloos or stealing the carrot from the nose of a snowman – winter has a lot of fun experiences in store for you. Since last year, families in the destination Gstaad also have a very special companion: who has already heard of Saani? The happy cheeky Saanen goat will show you all the things than can be discovered. Whether in summer on the playground or in winter on the slopes – Saani takes young and old on a discovery tour through his homeland.
Saani's Winter Wonderland
Sliding, building, playing and trying out – those who would like discover what all is possible with snow, should visit Saani's Winter Wonderland in Saanenmöser. Kids are always welcome here, either with or without skis, and admission is free for everyone.
Feel like going skiing? For all those who are on skis for the first time or want to practice the first turns on short sections, there is the new Saani taster ticket. Kids only pay CHF 20 and can practice on the lower section of Rinderberg and Saanerslochgrat ski area or use the ski area accessible via the Zückerli and Rütti ski lifts. By the way, the offer is also valid for teenagers and adults.
Those who need a change will pack their ice skates and do pirouettes on the ice rink in Gstaad or Saanenmöser or race down the mountain on a toboggan. Experienced tobogganers should head for the „tobogganing mecca“ Schönried-Saanenmöser that offers a variety of runs. Those who want to take it a bit easier will head up to the Sparenmoos or Eggli. It’s good to know that the toboggan rental is already included in the ticket price.
And there is more to come!
In summer Saaniland will be expanded and include even more fun experiences for young and old. In addition to the great playgrounds on the Wispile and Rinderberg (who has already tried them out last summer?), this year two trails with interactive posts about nature, animals, plants, music and skills will be set up. Together with Saani children learn many exciting things, create sounds and noises and practice their coordination – the goal is basically to be so clever and able to move around in the mountains as a Saanen goat! Saani even has the perfect program for rainy days: in the old fire station in Saanen is the STATION. Here too, things are screwed together, created and tried out – it’s all offline and suited for kids at every age.
