Spring Activities for Families

Spring brings new energy into our everyday lives! Whether indoors or outdoors, on rainy days or when the sun is shining – there are a variety of activities for young and old in the destination Gstaad.

Out into the fresh air!

Sliding, balancing, trying things out, playing with water … the playgrounds of the destination Gstaad have a lot to offer for guests. Playgrounds are especially popular with kids, such as the one at the Sportzentrum Gstaad. Older kids can enjoy the mini-golf course right next door. The playground in the village centre of Zweisimmen is also a great place for kids. Their eyes light up when they see the wooden dragon and Tyrolean zip wires. And the playground on the Wispile is also worth a trip – the cable car ride up the mountain is already an experience in and of itself!
By the way, the Wispile will be open on weekends beginning on 13 May 2021 and be open daily beginning on 14 June 2021. Whether on a bike, like-a-bike or scooter – the pumptracks in Saanen (by the Oeyetli youth centre) and Zweisimmen (behind the train station) offer the perfect place to practise balance and speed and work on your bike skills. And the good thing is – everyone will be quite tired in the evening.

Rainy Day Programme

„April does what it wants“ – as much as we are looking forward to the warm weather, we are also familiar with this phrase because there is some truth to it. Good that there are enough activities in the destination Gstaad that turn boring rainy days into an adventure in no time at all. In the old fire station house in Saanen, it is especially exciting. In the STATION, children of all ages find something that they like. From cogwheels to marble runs to corners for crafting and fairytale gondolas – there are lots of stations waiting to be discovered here. The STATION is open from Wednesday to Sunday. Don't forget to call and make a reservation beforehand.

Updates from Saaniland

Soon Saani, the cheerful and cheeky Saanen goat, will be able to open his two brand new adventure trails! Between Saanenmöser and Schönried, as well as between Saanen and Gstaad, there will be numerous posts for trying things out, playing and learning. Everything you need to know about Saaniland can be found at www.gstaad.ch/saaniland.
