The relaxing mountain

A sunny and calm plateau promises relaxing moments for everybody. In winter, Sparenmoos is a magnificent snow-clad fairytale landscape in which to dream, toboggan, cross-country ski or hike in the snow. In summer, Sparenmoos fascinates with theme based and loop trails, biking tours and much more.

Highlights Winter

The cross-country ski run on the snow-guaranteed high plateau impresses with a varied route through the gentle hilly landscape. It enchants with a fantastic view from Stockhorn to Les Diablerets. The toboggan run from Sparenmoos to Zweisimmen, which leads across snow-covered meadows and through woodland sections, provides pure sliding pleasure. For hikers, Sparenmoos offers a circular hike with beautiful views of the Simmental, western Bernese Oberland and the Vaud Alps.

Highlights Summer

The Sparenmoos is the ideal starting point for hikers. The extended hiking trails in the direction of the Jaunpass or Rellerli offer great views and lead past traditional alpine huts and flower-filled pastures. On the culture trail, those interested will find mountain stories, customs and lots of interesting information. With a bit of luck and binoculars you can observe wild animals such as red deer, chamois, roe deer and snow hare from the trail. A hike can be wonderfully rounded off with a racy scooter descent to Zweisimmen.
