Arthur Reuteler is a born and bred native of Saanenland. Born in Bissen/Gstaad in 1960, he currently runs a bicycle shop in Saanen and also works as a freelance ski instructor. The citizens elected him to the office of Municipal Council Member with effect from 1 January 2009.

"The start of this quite difficult descent certainly takes a bit of courage, but the trail itself is absolutely magnificent with all of its challenges. Do it twice if you feel up to it - and please show consideration for hikers and cows."
