Version Winter 2011/12

Take the ‘wedding cable car’ to seventh heaven

Couples who have lofty ambitions for their wedding ceremony are on the right track in the holiday region of Gstaad. The Rellerli Mountain Inn on Schönried’s signature mountain is one of the few branches of a register office in the Bernese Oberland. Experience over the last few years has shown that the holiday region of Gstaad is a particularly popular starting point on the path to wedded bliss.

Because couples have to overcome some official hurdles before getting married, they really have to contact the competent Oberland West Civil Registry District in Thun several weeks before the wedding ceremony. Due to the limited number of official dates, there may be several weddings on one day.

Beautifully decorated wedding cable car
To offer couples an unforgettable experience on their path to wedded bliss, Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad AG has a surprise in store. The Rellerli Team would be happy to attach a special wedding cable car on request. Curtains and lovingly arranged floral decorations complete the look. Being so far removed from normal, everyday life, the happy young couple float towards seventh heaven. The bridal couple travels for free of course. Normal rates apply to remaining gusts
(Direct:http://www.gstaad.ch/en/page.cfm/Cablecars/CalenderPrices). The costs incurred by the Register Office and of special floral decorations will be charged separately.

A magnificent backdrop for up to 300 guests
The Rellerli Mountain Inn offer rooms for up to 300 guests and also has easy accommodation options. The large sun terrace, fresh mountain air and fabulous mountain panorama form the backdrop for a successful celebration. Incidentally, the mountain inn is not only available for wedding guests. The Rellerli also gives other family and company get-togethers an appropriate setting.
Couples who want to get married will be given information about the official formalities by the Zivilstandskreis Oberland West (Oberland West Civil Registry District ) in Thun, Tel. + 41 (0) 31 635 43 00, za.oberland-west@pom.be.ch . (Direct:http://www.pom.be.ch/pom/de/index/zivilstand-pass-id/zivilstand/Zivilstandskreise/oberland_west.html)
