Beatrice Straubhaar turned her hobby into a career. The paper cutting artist runs the Chäller-Galerie with colleagues in Gstaad and has lived in Lauenen for many years.

‘When looking for the largest ice crystals in the region, the path leads along an easy, marked snowshoe trail which is also very suitable for beginners. Along the stream called Louibach, snowshoe enthusiasts share the beautiful natural landscape of Lauenen’s Rohr with cross-country skiers, walkers, dog sleds and horse-drawn carriages.’
