In July and August the farmers of the region traditionally celebrate the "Suufsunntiga", or drinking Sunday, up on various alps. These original alpine festivities revolve around the nomination of the "Meister Kuh", or prize cow. This happy get-together is filled with dance and music, making it an unforgettable experience.
