Gstaad Mountain Rides guarantees six months of winter sports from the end of October to the beginning of May.
The following factors contribute to a high level of guaranteed snow cover in the ski region:

• Glacier 3000 Gstaad = the only glacier ski area in the Bernese Oberland
• 60 % of the main ski slopes with artificial snow
• The slope quality is still good in late winter due to the ideal, largely stone and rock-free slope bases
