The restaurant is easily and quickly reached on the Eggli cable car. The valley station of Gstaad’s signature mountain is located just a few minutes from the village centre.

The wooden house provides an inviting atmosphere. The exquisite culinary delights are on everyone's lips. Friendly, skilled waiting staff serve diners in the 250-seat restaurant and on the terrace.

On the south-facing terrace, day trippers can soak up some extra sun by reclining on the particularly comfortable deckchairs. The terrace can seat up to 200 diners.

The Mountain Restaurant Eggli is the perfect venue for parties and informal get-togethers. Evening events are also possible on request.

Did you know that...
…the Mountain Hut Eggli was constructed in 1955? The old vicarage of St. Stephan was quite simply moved to Mt. Eggli and the mountain restaurant was complete.

The total investment amounted to CHF 150,000 including all fittings and furnishings.

The mountain hut was renovated in 1987 for about CHF 2.7m.
