The Gstaad ski region has many attractive offers available for schools and ski camps. The cable cars offer discounted prices and special tariff conditions for organisers staging ski camps.

Ski camp: definition
A ski camp for schoolchildren and adolescents must be organised by one of the authorised institutions listed below. These concessions are not available to ski camps organised by third parties (tour operators, transport companies, etc.). The stay on-site is in closed groups and under the supervision of at least one responsible leader (teacher, tour leader, etc.) aged 16 and over.

Children: children up to 9 years travel free of charge. The children's rates applies up to and including the 9th year of compulsory schooling.
Adolescents: The youth rates apply to adolescents aged 17 to 24 included.
Authorised institutions
Children's, schoolchildren's and youth camps organised by public and private schools/universities, children's homes and institutes, church and charity organisations, scout divisions, apprentice and vocational schools, Youth+Sports groups, ski clubs, sports associations. A confirmation issued by the institution or body organising the camp must be enclosed with the ski-pass application.
Minimum number of participants
10 paying, skiing children and/or adolescents. Non-skiers, adults, group leaders travelling for free and leaders with tickets at the youth rates do not count.
Duration
The special rates are valid for 1 to 31 days. The duration of the camp is defined as the period of time during the majority of the group is present.
