The mountain hut, which is situated at an altitude of 1,837 metres above sea level, is the sunny mountain par excellence in summer and winter. The south face of Mt. Rellerli and the fantastic views of the Saanenland and the Bernese, Vaud and Fribourg Alps attract sun-seekers to Schönried’s signature mountain.

The mountain hut near the mountain station of the Schönried-Rellerli cable car has various cosy rooms with up to 400 seats with table service. Guests will find about 250 seats with table service on the large sun terrace.

Summer toboggan run
A fast ride on the summer toboggan run on Mt. Rellerli is sure to provide plenty of thrills.

Scooter get-together
The descent into the valley from the Rellerli mountain station follows a trail up hill and down dale to Schönried.

Climbing wall
No matter whether you’re a beginner or an experienced climber, the climbing wall on Mt. Rellerli is a challenge for every climber with a height of 7.5 m and four different levels of difficulty. Equipment rental: CHF 5.00 (plus 5.00 deposit) at the mountain hut.

Wedding venue

You’ll be in seventh heaven on the wedding cable car: the Mountain Hut Rellerli is one of the few remaining branches of the Bernese Oberland Register Office, in which civil marriages can be solemnized.

The mountain hut is also suitable for private and corporate events. The cable car runs outside of operating times for evening events. Price available on request.
