TopCards and Sector Cards - Explanations
TopCards
TopCards are valid on all cable cars operated by Gstaad Mountain Rides. Public transport is included (MOB and PostBus as indicated in the winter brochure). Multiple-day tickets, season tickets and multiple-run tickets are issued only as TopCards. A one-day TopCard is also available on request. TopCards valid for 4 days or more and season tickets offer the possibility of swapping with discounted day tickets with the neighbouring regions of Adelboden/Frutigen/Lenk, Alpes Vaudoises as well as Alpes Fribourgoises and the ski regions of the Upper Engadine, Kitzbühel, Andorra and so on. Sector Cards
Sector Cards are issued as one-day tickets or for 4 hours (excl. Sector 4 Glacier3000). They are valid in the relevant sector. One-day Sector Cards can be exchanged for a one-day TopCard on request. One-day Sector Cards for Sectors 1-4 are valid on public transport (MOB and PostBus as indicated in the winter brochure).

Validity
TopCards and Sector Cards are valid on the days they are stamped. The cards is valid until the mountain lifts stop operating for the day as specified in the 2011/12 slope map, however no later than 6 p.m. An extra charge is payable when using the mountain lift facilities during night-time operation after 6 p.m. Validity on public transport : at all times on the train from St. Stephan to Rossinière in 2nd class carriages and on the PostBus from Saanenmöser to Col du Pillon, Lauenen and Turbach. Not valid for people travelling to or from work or school.
