Via Ferrata
Via Ferrata is Italian for "iron path" and means fixed rope routes that are secured with iron ladders, pins, brackets and steel cables. The holiday region of Gstaad offers a range of such attractive via ferratas for all levels of fitness. Equipped with a helmet, karabiners and a climbing harness, you are guaranteed to have an exhilarating experience at high altitude.

Safety Notice
- In case of doubt about the opening hours, please check in advanced if the rope routes are open.
- Prerequisites for going on a via ferrata: a good level of fitness, sure-footedness and a good head for heights, as well as mountain climbing experience. Climbing with a mountain guide is recommended.
- Only climb in good weather.
- Get down from the wall in case of a sudden drop in temperature or risk of a thunderstorm.
- Appropriate equipment
- Beware of loose rocks – danger of falling rocks
- Climb at your own risk. No liability can be accepted. All individuals are responsible for their own insurance cover.
