Glacier 3000 – Sanetschsee (Lac de Sanetsch)

The route follows the source of the Saane. It begins in the eternal ice on the Diablerets Glacier (Glacier de Tsanfleuron) before crossing the lunar landscape of the Lapis de Tsanfleuron on towards the Sanetsch Pass and the Lac de Sanetsch. The mighty Valais Alps from the Mont Blanc to the Matterhorn form an attractive backdrop.
