The route takes you from Gstaad towards the Hotel Le Grand Chalet, turning left behind it. From Gruben you can already see the first houses of Schönried. Above the "Kuhstall" Snow Bar the route passes under the Horneggli chairlift and continues via Wittere to Saanenmöser.
