Via Ferrata de la Cascade

The sports-oriented via ferrata ‘La Cascade’ is situated in the wild, romantic Alpine arena at the foot of the Diablerets glacier. A physically challenging passage leads under the waterfall and through a crevasse. A very varied via ferrata with ladders and zip-lines.

Please note:Located between forest and rocks. Difficult because the via ferrata is quite wet and slippery and the floor is well-worn. Good shoes are required. Route


Safety Notice
  • Prerequisites for going on a via ferrata: a good level of fitness, sure-footedness and a good head for heights, as well as mountain climbing experience. Climbing with a mountain guide is recommended.
  • Only climb in good weather.
  • Get down from the wall in case of a sudden drop in temperature or risk of a thunderstorm.
