This wonderful mountain hike over the Sanetsch Pass begins with a steep ascent or a cable-car journey from Gsteig up to the Auberge du Sanetsch at the dam. A last look at the Saanenland opens up before the route takes you along the artificial lake to the pass itself. Now on Valais soil the hiker can enjoy the alpine panorama that extends beyond the Rhône valley. The Pont du Diable and the narrow gorges of the Morge are among the highlights on the way down to Sion.
