The winter season kicked off at Glacier 3000

Great news for skiers and snowboarders: Glacier 3000, the only glacier ski area in the Bernese Oberland, opened its snow sports season on 28 October. Information about the operating lifts under the link below.
The new Red Run piste at Glacier 3000 is yet another winter attraction. Construction of this impressive descent at the foot of the Oldenhorn commenced in August 2017. Eight kilometres long, this new slope runs from the Scex Rouge mountain station 3,000 m.a.s.l. to Oldenegg at 1,918 m.a.s.l. Advance sales of the various season tickets run until 15 December, while for Glacier 3000 the final date is 15 November.

The region has a further 9 chalet villages alongside Gstaad, located at an altitude of between 1,000 and 1,400 metres. Yet despite its style and class, Gstaad has remained genuinely Alpine and down-to-earth. It is proud of its tradition and lives and breathes it every day.
