Tennis

Gstaad and tennis are an unbeatable doubles team. Every July, the ATP Tour's elite compete in the J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad for valuable world-ranking points. Beach Volleyball

Year after year, the Swatch Beach Volleyball Major Series are a highlight on Gstaad's events calendar. Top players from all over the world compete for the title and prize money right in the heart of Gstaad against a fabulous backdrop of mountains and chalets. A number of different courts are available in Gstaad and surroundings for beach volleyball enthusiasts.

The Gstaad holiday region has several lakes and rivers in which fishing is permitted. The trout lake in Zweisimmen and Lake Arnen in Feutersoey are very popular with families.

A permit is required for fishing in public waters.

Paragliding

The holiday region of Gstaad has a wealth of varied flying routes. The launch sites have good thermals and are easy to reach by lift and cable car. Visitors can also experience the thrill of tandem flights with experienced pilots.

Whether you're propelled into the air by thermal currents or by a motor, the Bernese Oberland Alps offer pilots a number of different options and flying routes. Different companies offer flights over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau or towards the Valais Alps close to the Matterhorn and over the Aletsch Glacier.
